Terms of Service
Best Immigration Case Tracker is operated by Best Immigration Services, Inc. We are not a law firm and are not affiliated with or endorsed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Best Immigration Case Tracker mobile application and its supporting web services (together, the "App"), operated by Best Immigration Services, Inc. ("Best Immigration Services," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the service
The App lets you enter a USCIS receipt number to request publicly available case-status information, save case notes and milestones, use immigration reference tools such as a checklist, timeline, and visa-bulletin lookup, and optionally set local reminders. The App is an informational and organizational tool. It does not file, submit, or track anything with USCIS on your behalf, and it does not create or modify any government record.
3. Not legal advice, no attorney-client relationship
Best Immigration Services, Inc. is not a law firm, does not employ or hold itself out as attorneys within the App, and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal opinions through the App. Nothing in the App creates an attorney-client relationship. Immigration law is complex and case-specific; consult a licensed immigration attorney before making decisions that affect your legal status or a pending case.
4. Not affiliated with the government
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by USCIS, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of State, or any other government agency. Case-status results are retrieved from the official USCIS Case Status API and passed through to you as received; we do not alter, interpret, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that data. Always verify case information directly through official government sources, such as uscis.gov, before relying on it.
5. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the App. The reviewed build of the App does not require account creation or sign-in. If a future version adds accounts, additional terms may apply at that time.
6. Your responsibilities
- Enter only receipt numbers and case information you are authorized to look up or store. Do not enter another person's information unless you have their permission or legal authority to do so.
- Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose, to harass or defraud others, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or any third-party system the App connects to (including USCIS's own systems).
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or interfere with the App or the services it depends on.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you enter and for any consequences of relying on results the App displays.
7. Reminders and notifications
Local reminders are scheduled and stored on your own device through your device's operating system. We do not guarantee that a reminder will fire at the exact time requested, and delivery can be affected by device settings, battery optimization, or connectivity. Reminders are a convenience feature, not a substitute for tracking official deadlines directly with USCIS or your attorney.
8. Third-party services
The App relies on outside services to operate, including the official USCIS Case Status API, Netlify (hosting), Supabase (reference data such as the visa bulletin and processing times), and, on Android, Google/Firebase for push notifications. On iOS, Apple provides distribution and on-device notification services. Those services are governed by their own terms and are outside our control; we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or downtime. Our Privacy Policy describes what information is shared with each provider and why.
9. Intellectual property
The App's design, text, graphics, and underlying software are owned by Best Immigration Services, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your own device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The App and any information it displays are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that case-status information will be accurate, complete, or current, since that information originates from USCIS and other third parties outside our control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Best Immigration Services, Inc. and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including reliance on case-status information, a missed reminder, or an immigration deadline — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to us to use the App in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Best Immigration Services, Inc. from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party, including entering another person's information without authorization.
13. Florida disclosure (Senate Bill 846)
As required by Florida Senate Bill 846, Best Immigration Services, Inc. discloses: we are not attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Florida, and we may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. Immigration matters can have serious and permanent consequences; you should consult a licensed attorney for legal advice specific to your situation.
14. Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may revise these Terms as our practices, the App, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms at this location and update the effective date above. Material changes may also be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend or discontinue the App, or your access to it, at any time, including if we believe these Terms have been violated, without liability to you.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
